What’s the difference between 7/8″ and 1-5/8″ strut channel?
7/8″ (“half-slot”/junior channel) is typically used for lighter loads, single conduit runs, small equipment mounts, signage. 1-5/8” is the standard heavy-duty size for pipe racks, cable tray support, and multi-run assemblies. Check your project drawings for “Unistrut P1000″ (1-5/8”) vs “P3300″ (7/8”) part-number references, those are the industry-standard equivalents.
Is your strut channel compatible with standard Unistrut fittings?
Yes. Our channel is slotted to the same dimensional spec as branded Unistrut, so standard channel nuts, brackets, and clamps fit without modification. “Unistrut” is a trademarked brand name (Atkore); what you’re buying is generic slotted strut channel manufactured to the same spec.
What’s the minimum order for strut channel?
We sell by the bundle (50 pieces), not individual sticks. Most contractors ordering strut channel wholesale are buying multiple bundles for a job, send us your material list and we’ll quote a direct price with freight.
