Plastic or metal end caps, which should I use?
Plastic snap-caps are the standard for most interior applications, fast to install, no tools needed. Metal caps are used where there’s higher impact risk or the spec specifically calls for metal. Most contractors stock both.
Do end caps fit both channel sizes?
We carry caps sized for both 7/8″ and 1-5/8″ channel, confirm your size on the quote request.
Are end caps required by code?
Requirements vary by jurisdiction and application, check your local code or project spec. Many contractors cap all exposed ends as standard safety practice regardless.
